Quality Office Environments was established in 2001 as a boutique office furniture dealership with the sole purpose of providing individualized services for the architectural and design community, striving to create extremely functional, aesthetic and user friendly spaces.
In 2010 Marcia was approached to purchase QOE, a thriving dealership established by her previous sales manager and friend, Carroll Johnson. Yearning to go back to her roots, Marcia was overjoyed to accept.
For the past 24 years QOE has proudly served as a Woman Owned Business.

I love furniture! As an Interior design graduate from Syracuse University, I have always had a passion for interior spaces and the elements that make them unique. Especially furniture!
I am so grateful that I get to work with the talented professionals in the community, the architects, interior designers and facilities managers, to help them create welcoming, enticing and beautiful spaces for people to learn in, work in and collaborate in.
My favorite day is install day, when we bring the space to life, watching people thrive in the spaces that we help create is the most rewarding part of what we do at QOE.

The real reason for our success, Marj brings an unmatched wealth of experience to the company having spent 34 years at Gunlocke in every position but president- (though many say, she would have been excellent at that too!). It’s been said that there isn’t anything she can’t do.
She is the driving force that makes this QOE train stay on the rails. She keeps track of every aspect of the order, pushes the vendors to perform at their highest level, corresponds daily with clients, project managers, installers and even keeps our plants alive.

There is nothing better than to have your very own project manager overseeing the great projects that we are so fortunate to be a part of.
The last leg of the journey is carefully managed by Jim as he oversees the talented group of installers and gifted tradespeople that we work with to ensure that the furniture is delivered, assembled and installed properly and timely in the least disruptive fashion.
He assures that all punch list items are addressed expediently and always with a smile and a great attitude.

As the company turned 20 years old, the need to create a more youthful and up to date image fell on the young and extremely talented shoulders of our newest member, Devan.
As a Visual Media graduate from RIT, she brings with her a knowledge of technology, trends and market savvy that was lacking. We are so excited to have her aboard and for her to share her youthful and inspirational ideas in both our marketing and social media presence.
